Description:
- Hide the sink EDID and provide the general EDID to source

- Default Mode:
Connect the male end to the computer and the female end to the monitor, and it can be used immediately.
The EDID name for this mode is HDMI EDID, and in this mode, the LED indicator does not light up. - To enable and use Backup Mode:
Step 1.: Remove the cable connections from both ends of the emulator.
Step 2.: Connect the emulator to the computer.
Step 3.: Connect the monitor to the emulator.
Step 4.: Disconnect the monitor from the emulator immediately after connecting.
Step 5.: The emulator will enter Backup Mode, indicated by the LED light flashing approximately every 2 seconds.
Step 6.: You will have a total of 10 seconds to initiate the EDID backup process.
Step 7.: Follow the specific instructions provided by the emulator during this time to complete the backup successfully.
Step 8.: Once the backup is completed, the emulator will store and use the acquired EDID for emulation. -
In Backup Mode, there are two options to choose from:
a. Backup Mode - Screen EDID to Emulator EDID Conversion.
During the Backup Mode period (when the LED light is flashing), connect the monitor to the emulator to backup the screen EDID to the emulator. The EDID name will be the original EDID of the monitor, and in this mode, the LED indicator remains constantly lit.
b. Emulator EDID Restoration to Factory Settings.
During the Backup Mode period (when the LED light is flashing), leave the rear end of the emulator disconnected (do not connect the monitor to the emulator) until the LED light goes off. The EDID inside the emulator will be restored to the factory settings.
